Become a certified AI Design Sprint™ Facilitator
For business and IT consultants to start AI projects with clients
For in-house transformation teams to collaborate on AI projects within the organization
This bootcamp is designed for individuals. However, if you are from a medium to large enterprise, you and up to 7 of your colleagues can also join our Company Team Training, which is tailored to fit your schedule.
The AI Design Sprint™
It’s based on the Google design sprint (a 5-day process to solve critical business questions), but the AI Design Sprint™ is faster (it starts with 8 hours) and the focus is on AI.
We are happy that Jake Knapp, the inventor of the Google design sprint, likes the AI Design Sprint™: “Holy smokes, 33A’s AI Design Sprint™ is excellent!” Since starting, we have led hundreds of AI Design Sprints™ with small and large organizations.
The phases of AI Design Sprint™: Process Automation
1. AI Opportunity Mapping
Optional entry point A: The client doesn’t know which of the company’s work processes is most valuable for automation.
The starting point for AI Opportunity Mapping is the organizational diagram. In this phase, the client team identifies the most valuable processes in the company for automation. AI Opportunity Mapping provides a systematic approach to do so.
2. Framing
Optional entry point B: The client doesn’t know which of the departments work processes is most valuable for automation.
The starting point for Framing is the mapped-out department with its overall tasks. In the Framing session, the client team identifies the process most valuable for automation.
3. Concept Development
Entry point C: The work process for automation is identified.
The starting point for Concept Development is the mapped-out process. The client team develops holistic automation solution concepts for the identified process using our AI Cards and our other tools. They visualize and define the remodeled process and perform an ethical check.
4. Assessment
The client team assesses their developed concepts technical feasibility, value for the employee, and value for the business or business case.
Technical brief
The outcome of the AI Design Sprint™ is the technical brief. It includes the description of the AI solution and its technical functionalities, the identification and description of data sources, and an initial understanding of the technical complexity.
This leads to the Tech Check where an AI expert performs a technical feasibility check. In the following meeting with the client, the technical roadmap is outlined. This leads to the Prototype, where a technical prototype is built.
